Lindsay's Loves ♥

Wedding season is well underway, and though I am no longer planning my own (my hunk of a husband and I will be celebrating 6yrs this Oct.), like most girls, I am still drawn to all those lovely little beautiful bridal things! And if we were to do it all over again, I most definitely would be including some of this exquisite handmade l o v e l i n e s s.

Lindsay's Loves ♥

School is almost out (on the 9th here) and it is time to show a little love and appreciation to the one that is under funded, under appreciated, and many times over worked. And no, I am not talking about myself, (though I just may snag some swag for me too!) I am of course referring to your child's teacher. With all that these educational warriors do from September to June, they deserve a big thank-you and a little handmade g o o d n e s s!

Sew Gracious ID badge lanyard $7

Mother's Day is next weekend, so I thought I would showcase some Etsy goodies that my own mother Susan would be smitten to receive!

My mama can't live without her tea. These little tea rests by Miss Pottery would be perfect! $10 for two

Growing up, I would play "dress up" in my mama's Gunne Sax collection. I am guessing she would just adore this vintage Gunne skirt from Dewberry Vintage. $47

Her favorite color is yellow and these sunny earrings from OBTP are right up her ally. $25

She has always had a thing for anything miniature ever since I can remember. This itty bitty tea set from Mini Pottery by Anita would have her swooning. $24

A long time allergy sufferer, a stash of tissues is always at hand. This would be an adorable tissue tote from Knotty by Nature would be perfect for her purse. $5.75

My mama is in the market for a new purse, and I think this tote from Charm Design has all the features she would want. Long removable strap, zipper closure, interior pocket, and the perfect size. $39.50

Nothing much inspires me more then Spring. After a long cold winter here in the Midwest, even the littlest signs get me excited! Tiny bright green shoots poking through last Fall's insulating layer of dead dull leaves, the smell of rain, and the sound of chirping birds in the morning... and boy have those little birds been noisy! I imagine they are all busy gussying up their nests, getting them all comfy cozy for their eggs. A reminder I suppose, that Spring is birthing season for many little critters. So I thought it fitting to have today's Etsy finds be inspired by the famous little Spring born fawn Bambi!

Siiri - Bambi Felt Hair Clip $8.50

The Dainty Squid - Deer and Squirrel Zippered Pouch $7.75

Lindsay's Loves ♥

I hope you all had a great day! The temperatures this week were quite divine and the snow is mostly gone. Even though it was rainy and gray today I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. The children dusted off their bikes and reunited with neighborhood friends earlier this week and we started the process of inventorying last year's warm weather gear. Both kids have grown like weeds, especially my little one. Nothing of hers fits, not even the larger stuff I purchased in advance! I have a feeling I will be making a lot of her stuff this summer. At least she is easy to please :) Here are today's Etsy finds. I call the collection Peaches and Burnt Cream.

Lindsay's Loves ♥

It's Friday the 13th and today is traditionally seen as a day of misfortune or bad luck. According to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville, North Carolina, an estimated 17 to 21 million people in the United States are affected by a fear of this day. Some people are so paralyzed by fear that they avoid their normal routines in doing business, taking flights or even getting out of bed. "It's been estimated that [US]$800 or $900 million is lost in business on this day". Despite this, representatives for both Delta and Continental Airlines say that their airlines don't suffer from any noticeable drop in travel on those Fridays. More on this report can be seen here. But really. . . it is Friday people! For me that means the traditional work/school week is coming to an end. The family gets to gather for some fun together time and of course I get your weekend started off on the right foot with these AMAZING Etsy finds! WooHoo!

Morelle - Truffle in Red $155

YellowCake - Vintage Lilly Bee Polka Dot Party Frock $45

galipette - Belleville peppery spice caramel $12

The B Hive - large CA roll toiletries carry all $26
